Back from Nashville . . . (some pics included)

Just got back home from Nashville but didn't see Pistolpete.  I'm not a big Country Music fan but after visiting Nashville I have a new respect for Country music/musicians. It's a wonderful place to visit if your a music fan of any kind.
Ohhhhh, I did meet a FABULOUS session musician by the name of Kenny Vaughan.  A one of a kind performer and super, super nice guy who also has never heard of Pistolpete.

Meeting him and watching him play was one of many highlights of my visit.

Nashville is full of some of the most amazing pickers and players and writers you could hope to meet. And the cool thing is many of them are so willing to hang out and talk.

Did you get a chance to go to the Grand old Opry?  Marty Stewart, the guy in black in the center is a main stay at the Opry and one of the few people in the biz carrying on the "real country music tradition" in Nashville these days.

I hope you got a chance to hit the honky-tonks downtown too. Lots of country music history happened in those old bars.

M&M  That is Marty Stewart . . . as Herb says the real deal of Country Music.

Herb we did make it to the Grand Old Opry.  I loved it so much I wanted to go back the next night.  We also made it back stage a must see if you go.
