Actually I got the price wrong  as there is a sale with all their products reduced - and they have some interesting stuff - I got the snaps and claps as well!!

I bought Snaps & Claps as well. Anyone (myolpal) have an idea what's a good offset to use to keep these on the beat? TIA.

You mean they don't "sync to host"???  That would be a wonderful, pitiful irony.  And just what I deserve:-)

I haven't even tried them yet.

Just went and gave them a cursory run through...didn't find any loops...just snap and clap triggers.   Are you saying there are loops and they don't sync to host??

myolpal, they do sync to host but here's a tip that's mentioned at the bottom of the description:

A hint for using Snaps 'n' Claps: Because the clusters of sounds recorded in Snaps 'n' Claps inevitably trail the beat somewhat – they're spread out in time, and they have to spread after the beat at which you play the note – it can really help to tighten the feel of the groove if you tweak their timing after recording them. Once you've recorded (and, if you wish, quantised) your Snaps 'n' Claps patterns, select them in your DAW and very slightly nudge them ahead of the beat. That way the mid-point of the cluster will be brought on to the beat and the overall groove will tighten up hugely.

I was fishing for a starting point since I haven't even installed them yet.

I thought mebbe you'd found the sweet spot.

    They do sound pretty good.
