Bus Automation

Am mixing a 25 track song, have everything going to its own bus. I have the automation the way I want for the drums.. am wondering if I set that as a group, and then assign the other buses to that group, if the already made automation will transfer over to the other buses? It is just a volume boost for going into the chorus, I know I can do each one individually.. but am thinking of going forward, if this would work.

You can always create a new "chorus boost" bus, assign the busses you want controlled by automation to the new bus and apply automation only to the new bus.

I did something similar where a bunch, not all, busses where going to be effected by a tapestop effect so I did what I suggested. I assigned everything to one of two busses - one called non tapestop, the other called tapestop and both of those busses routed to the master bus.
