The story of my life...and yours too for that matter....

I'm finally starting to rotate mixes up on my soundcloud page from my upcoming album project to test their "web readiness".  For anyone that's interested there's a new one up as of yesterday (7/29) called "Already Gone".

This song is ready to be shared with the world.  I love the sultriness of the arrangement, voice, and piano.  Very nice and very catchy.

    All the best,

Don't think I've ever heard any of your music 'Olpal..listening to 'Already Gone' - blown away, this is wonderful stuff. Are you a Justin Currie (Del Amitri) fan by any chance? This sounds like some of his solo work (intended as a compliment)

Well done Pal.  It strikes the right mood and is consistent throughout.  I can't explain it but it's just right.  Nice job.

I love it when this happens..........when someone totally blows away my pre-conceptions. Having never heard any of your work before, I didn't really know what to expect, but was expecting banjos, stomping and yee-haa's and such for some reason - must be the yeller 'fro !

Really nice atmosphere to this. Liked just about everything about it. I'd maybe trim the perc off the end and have the fade out just end at 5:00 if it were mine.

    Nice. Me like. A lot.

This is really nice Ol'Pal! I like it!

The piano maybe a touch to loud and the toms but other than that, really nice! Love the vox!

    Well done!!!

Thanks ol pals.  I sincerely appreciate it.  I'm in (mostly) the tweaking and mixing phase now and so should be rotating tunes up to soundcloud more frequently.  I'll sure try and keep ya posted.  It's a pretty wide and varied bunch of nonsense as you might expect:-)

Dude, that's a beautiful mix. Kinda Floyd-y. You even sing a bit like Waters, or Knopfler maybe. The world-weary vocal gives the words credibility. Great ;lyrics, btw. The piano is a very nice touch.
