Anyone Using Melodyne 2 in X1- and experiencing glitches during fast bounce?
Actually Melodyne Editor 2.1 32bit in X1D Expanded. It's better than version one but I'm finding some issues- especially on vocal tracks- when I fast bounce. I spent 15 minutes fixing clicks and pops in a track yesterday. Anyone else? Thought they'd fixed it but....

Yes, I use Melodyne 2.x a lot and had the same random click and pop when I would fast bounce. I've read various postings over the years about the problem and what I've concluded is regardless of whether this problem is ever really fixed, it's still better to bounce, freeze and export pitch-based effects in real time. Since I've started freezing my Melodyne-processed tracks in real time I haven't had any problems.

Thanks. I'd been bouncing in real time up until the upgrade a couple of weeks ago. I 'thought' that was addressed- but I guess I thought wrong. So it's back to real time...

I assume you've tried following Melodyne's recommendation: "For Melodyne editor, assistant and essential we recommend that you set the buffer size of your audio interface to 1,024 samples." I always switch to that when using Melodyne and never had any problems.

Anyways, there are quite a few VSTs that don't tolerate Fast Bounce.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.
