Rapture Upgrade

On July 5th, due to the 4th of July INDEPENDENCE coupon, I decided
to purchase the Rapture Upgrade...

It was $19.99 with 10 percent off with Coupon, making it $17.99

Well Cakewalk decides that they will charge me $17.99 AND $19.99

On my order there are 2 transactions, one for $17.99 and one for $19.9i9.
I only ordered ONE Upgrade and only ONE time.

So, just a word to the wise.  WATCH YOUR PURCHASES CLOSELY!!

Why not call support and see if there was a mistake made?  Recently I got a bill in the mail, "totally not music related," for something I had already paid for.  I called this companies customer service department..  I got, "an apology."  Was told not to worry, the discrepancy would be fixed immediately.

Obviously, you have a double charge..  Hardly something unique..  This happens a lot.  If I could remember all the times I have had to sort out charges, overdrafts, more charges, refunds, returns, store credits... etc, etc

    cheers mate

A double charge would be completely understandable.

But, they show 2 separate transactions for 2 entirely different amounts on the SAME DAY.

Obviously I have already emailed Customer Service - THAT is a given.

My point in posting this was to make people AWARE.  Watch your transactions....That's all I'm saying.

Well it has now been 7 days since I posted this and sent the email to
    Cakewalk...

Not a single response....not here in the forum...
    and not via email...

Now that is some pretty sad customer service....if I do say so
    myself...

That's true of any vendor as mistakes do happen.

However a week with no response after flagging it up is bad.

Is it convenient for you to contact them by 'phone?  I'd suggest that as you can deal with stuff there and then, it's difficult though if you are an international customer like myself.
