Santana'ish

Recently I posted my Redneck Orchestra.  I had to make a few pieces for a library and needed fast ideas so I reworked that melody into a new style.

Featuring a Trombone solo?  Oh how I wish I could play real Trombone!

Can I coin the phrase" redneck orchestra"? Love it lol. I am guessing you haven't done a lot of this kind of think looking at your soundcloud. If this is one of your first efforts it is pretty good. Sounded pretty well polished and the brass arranged into the song fits well. Keep up the good work bro.

Way cool and different.  Trombone would be the icing on the cake.

"Oh how I wish I could play real Trombone!"

    Oh but you can...

Samplemodeling rocks pretty hard.. I have Mr. Sax-T and "it sounds like a sax." And that's not easy.

I listened to your song, I like it, but that horn sample blows :-( Good playing throughout though.

Tom - Thanks for the listen

Starise - Thanks for the listen.  My first 70's style I guess.  I do all sorts of music (none too well)  Redneck Orchestra on my soundcloud page consists of a bunch of guitars, mandoline, shaker and slide guitar.  Seemed fitting (No offence to any rednecks of course!)

Lynn - Thank you for the listen

Mr. Virus - Thanks for the compliment, I love your gear list!

Scotty - Thanks for swinging by!

Robby - Thanks for the listen and tip.  Checking out the web page now.  A VST trombone solo is almost bound to fail in the hands of a non-Trombonist.  Don't be too hard on the Goliath Trombone,,,it's me who should take the blame :)  In my defense, there was no articulations to choose from.

Really cool and enjoyable. It reminded me of movie soundtracks from the 60's. Great job
