X1 pauses when I move vsti controls for the first time

Hello,

I have a problem with controlling VSTi in SONAR X1. Every time I tweak any of VSTi controls (like "cutoff" in Minimonsta) the playback stops for a split second. After I moved a control once, I can further tweak it with no playback gaps, but all the "previously untouched" controls cause the same problem.

Here are some observations on how it works:

- the gap is auduble even when the synth track is muted, frozen and even archived
- some VSTIs in the project still work fine
- sometimes a VSTi works fine for some time after adding it to project and the problem appears later
- after a VSTi started giving gaps, nothing can "heal" it
- reopening the whole project and "disconnect-connect" operation to a synth doesn't help but only resets all controls to "untouched" status.

Any solution or workaround would be helpful. Thanks!

    (i hope this may be useful for somebody, i guess i'm not the only one with this problem)

    After hours of experimentation i have found a workaround for this.
    Go to synth rack, select "assign controls" (this is visible only from "undocked" view), assign all the controls you plan to automate. Now you can automate any of these controls with no gaps heard. Not so handy, but better than nothing. And i still think there is a better way to do this.
