Sharing whole projects

I have a question about sharing a complete project that I plan on working with someone on. I use Sonar 8 producer and so does he. What we'd like to do is maybe put down a guitar/bass/midi drum track and figure out the best way for me to send him the complete project. All audio and midi data so when he opens it up or imports it he can see the audio info and midi notes just as you would see them if you were recording your own piece. Is there a feasible way to do this that isnt too tough to do? Thanks in advance... soundcloud.com/aknewgod

You would have to save it as a bundle (.CWB) file and then send it. Since bundle files are usually quite large, you'll need to use a service that allows you to transfer files > 1GB. Otherwise you could burn it to a DVD and send that via the mail.

Would the bundle file have all the necessary information? Midi notes, all audio? etc.. Thanks for your quick answer.

Yes. Bundle files contain the MIDI and AUDIO tracks. Because of their size though, they tend to be somewhat unreliable. The person on the receiving end would have to have all the same plug-ins that are being used in the project installed in their Sonar.
