long time Sonar user embarrased to have to ask.... re: mixdown annoyances.

Hi all, I've had some of the same mixdown annoyances (and probable user error) with Sonar 8 forever and was hoping some experts could help: 1.When mixing a file down, is there a way to NOT have Sonar append the output names to the Wave or MP3 file? I've shortened my delta 1010 to friendly names main or 1&2 but Sonar still insists.... E.g. filename.interface output name. mp3 I just want the title. filename.wav etc. 2 Also in mixing, is there any way to have sonar end [and mix the song] on the last open clip, rather then unused muted clips that might be beyond the desired song end? I need this for doing 15 second reductions in voiceovers and can't erase the longer muted clips. Do I need to select the desired range before mixdown? Any help would be much appreciated in advance- thanks so much!!! Cheers, C

    1) When you do File-Export-Audio, make the Source Category - Entire Mix and the Preset should be All unless you want a separate WAV file for each track.

    2) Yes, select the desired range. Hold down ALT while using the mouse to select the clips.
