I'm very impressed with this song.  The production is very smooth and balanced, though I would have boosted the bass a little.  The performances are top notch, especially the vocals, as is the arrangement.  I like the lyrics because they have a timely message and can be understood easily.  You have a very good ear for melody, and your hooks are catchy.  I can still hear the song in my head as I write this.  Bravo!

    All the best,
    Lynn

Hey Lynn.  Thanks for the compliments, they are appreciated.

Since this isn't an acoustic kit, I had to tame the kick a bit more(electronic kits are more of a challenge to mix for me).  My bassist came in with some thick tones and I had to tame those as well.  Trying to strike a good balance was a good bit of back and forth.  All in all, the analyzer, my Mackies and, most importantly, my ears struck the best balance I could.

Thanks for always lending an ear to my stuff.

    Cheers,

    RKS

Tears for Fears' "Everybody Want to Rule the World" is Schweeeeet!  Great Vox and I Love the guitar solo.  Nice job!

Lol.  Thanks man.  My guitarist, Dan T, has a soulful groove to him.

Delightfully smooth! Took me back to my last Earth Wind & Fire concert experience! I love that style. Well done, well mixed, very polished! ~ John

This is really a great bit of tunage! I like that it has the vibe of the 70s but keeps it fresh. I wish my mixes would sound this good.

    Well done!!!
