D. A. W. or DAW?
So I go to the Izotope web site to get my Ozone 5 offline authorization and watch a few of their short videos while I'm there.
The narrator kept saying "D. A. W." and not Daw.
Have I been wrong all these years?
I mean about how to pronounce DAW.
Is it an acronym or is it initials?
Nevertheless, I'm going to continue saying it so it rhymes with saw until the D. A. W. police come and drag me away.

IBM= initials. I suppose someone could pronounce it ibem, but most folks say 'IBM'.

There is no right or wrong. I hear as many say "Daw" as I do say D.A.W. It's the same with ASIO. Some say A.S.I.O....others literally pronounce it "ah-zio". For what it's worth, I say Daw and A.S.I.O. :) -Danny

I usually say D.A.W . All this time I thought that A.S.I.O was pronounced ASSIO or AZZIO. Oh well.

In my solitary musical life, I don't recall ever hearing DAW spoken until this video. In my head, I've always pronounced it daw. I thought I was wrong, again.
