Cakewalk Careers...

http://www.cakewalk.com/About/careers.aspx

A comforting thought, in a way, that Cakewalk are now advertising for positions in their company for software engineers...

From reading the requirements, I see an interest in products (plugins) that support other DAW.  I am highly in favor of this.  I like to have my Cake and eat it too.  (no matter what DAW I'm using.)

I see an interest for Mac OSX and Audio Units, which makes my presence on these boards a bit more legitimate.

Dimension Pro finds its way in pretty much all my projects. Haven't taken the Zeta plunge yet because there seems to be a few issues and I just don't have the time to troubleshoot these days.

Not necessarily, but they may be taking it into account - iPads and such are likely to be integrated in studios as remote control surfaces among other things. Avid did a survey about that not so long ago.

Likewise, MOTU have their own remote app which allows to control Digital Performer from your iPhone.

its well about time.. Even a very rudimentary Sonar control surface on Android/ios would go a long way..while  the ipad makes a decent wifi remote control surface using AC7 but its buggy and unreliable with Sonar.. but helps to check the mix from the sofa, and record tracks from the synth or piano.

Using AC7 here with no problems. Also alternate it with V Control Pro, which also wors well.

If you need help on the set up, then pm me, in order to not derail the OP.

    Cheers,
