R-Mix and a stereo audio editor

One of the exciting features of SONAR x2 seems to be the R-Mix technology from Roland. Now my question is will R-Mix also double up as a stereo editor or do the bakers have a stereo editor on the cards. Steinberg has Wavelab and I think Cakewalk should have its own version of a two track recorder and editor. It is extremely handy when you are working with mixed files.

R-mix isn't a stereo editor, not in the traditional sense.
