The interesting thread

Lot of meh stuff recently.  I want to start a fascinating thread of useless info.

Start
Everyone knows if you put an electron and a positron (or matter and antimatter) together, there is a huge release of energy and then all the matter is gone.

But..
if you take a vacuum and apply enough energy, there is a chance that a positron and an electron will spring into existance.

Your turn.  Has to be cool.

I do have to agree with these scientific findings. The FSF is most certainly void of any energy that these positrons & electrons have a remote chance of existing, but instead has created a massive vacuum of morons that have sustained life into it's very being.

Science is still working to see if there are even smaller quarks are out there.  While some believe that the illusive "Bapu" and "Mooch" particles exist, others contend that those have already been found but were named Strange and Charm.

(Personally, I think it's fascinating that with the smaller particles you have to have two -1/3e quarks to balance out a single +2/3e quark - apparently, at its most basic level, nature loves a good menage-a-tois as well?)

If I'm not mistaken, optometrists use this/similar method/experiment when doing a Slit Lamp Exam.
