BFD eco 64bit clean install?

So I just got the BFD eco disk... It wants to put everything in program files x86 so 32 bit. Do I need to do the regular 32 install then upgrade to 1.5 and 64bits? Any way to install 1.5 to start with? I was going to look for stuff on their site but they want a serial number, I don't see one on the disk, box, or instructions... I could be just having a bad day.

Whoever you bought it from might have put the Serial # on the invoice...

But there should be one in the documentation or on the disk.

The disk, you would think, would be the latest version....but...

If it's not you'll have to access the Fxpansion website and download the upgrade.  Once you've registered, your FREE Rock Legends kit should show up in your Fxpansion products.  You'll have to download that too.  It's 5 separate files abourt 1 gig each.

    Hope you find it!!

This is win764bits. I only have the 64bit version of X1 installed. I wrote them. I imagine that I can register with the program if I install the 32bit version but I'm waiting to see if I have to do that. Probably no difference.

If it's the latest version both 32 bit and 64 bit will be there...

It will ask you where to install each....

I don't think it gives the option not to install the 32 bit...

    which was kinda weird.....but...

Then there is the Fxpansion License Manager, which will ask for the serial number
    and then get the authorization.

    Cheers!

I got mine via down load from FXpansion. I found that the installer did not support Vista 64. But I was able to extract the 64 bit version (its really a rar exe file). Because you are running Win 7 64 bit you should not have a problem.

I got my serial number by Email. But that would be expected. When I got BFD ECO  DV which is a special version it came on disk and the serial number was on the box. But this was a Zildian version.

You should be able to setup an account if you can find a serial number.

Let me know how things go.

So I've got BFD installed and it runs. But it doesn't show up in X1. BFD Eco.dll is in program files/cakewalk/vstplugins... I used the full installer from a download then did this update: BFD_Eco_1-5-1-5_Update It doesn't show up in plug in manager... Not sure which way to go now.

OK, I went round and round and round with the plug in manager and it now shows up and runs. Never mind.
