Sonar 8.5 routing question

Hi, I have 2 Apogee Rosetta 200's AD/DA converters) connected via ADAT into my rme 9652 (Adat 1 and Adat 2). 

Within Sonar 8.5 I'm trying to route my stereo mix out through one Apogee into an API 2500 stereo compressor and back into the DAW but...

Whichever ADAT I select within Sonar it only ever goes through one Apogee (the one I use for monitoring)...so...

If you have more than one ADAT connection, how do you configure it so that the soundcard can route to both of them? Or can you only have ONE ADAT connected at a time? 

Does this make any sense!? Thanks in advance for any help.
