Yes, I Have a staff View Issue
Maybe this one is user-error or something, but here is what happens often: Snap is on and set to a value (like 1/8 note)./ In other words, the Grid above the word Snap is lit in blue and a note value next to it is highlighted in blue. The Event Draw Duration under the tool set is also turned on and set to a note value (like 1/8). Despite this, when I use the pencil to put notes on the staff, the notes drop at weird values (like 3:03:41 or 4:02:03), not at any normal note or beat divisions. Why is this?

I haven't used SV since I was going through the tuts but I seem to remember the same thing happening to me. I think there was a Right click option on the pencil tool or something that brought up a snap menu for the pencil specifically... or maybe that was a dream. All I know is that I found it annoying.

Hi Konrad, I assume you're using X1d, which I tested and found the same results. I believe this bug was supposed to be repaired, but not really certain that it was. Hopefully, X2 will be fixed. The experience I had was that sometimes the snap-to would work fine, other times not, and it did not seem dependent upon which settings I chose. JG www.jerrygerber.com

Thanks, everyone. My experience is the same as Jerry's (jsg's). Seems to be a persistent bug.

It's true they have a chord grids selection but I don't see any chord diagrams on my staff view.

I managed to get them to appear above the SV in the traditional manner. It's a pain to do and working with the diagrams is weird and wonky but the feature is indeed there.

For my needs, I've had some pretty good results with "chord diagrams" in the SV. I also appreciate having this feature integrated in my sequencer.
