Lady Medtrina- Instrumental

Hey Guys,

Just recorded this little jam today. Has a jazzy feel. Might write lyrics to it- excuse the protracted organ at the end: one of the guys wanted it in. I'll cut it later.

Very nice! Bluegrass with a jazz feel. The protracted organ seems a little out of place with the rest of the arrangement, but I would not take it out. Maybe find another tone that matches better. Good change up around 3:50 to give the song another phase.

I love it when I can't predict the outcome of a song, and this is a wonderful surprise.  It's very original and well arranged.  As for the organ, a different sound and a fade out could help this.  Also, the bass guitar could be a tad louder.  Nonetheless, this is a winner.

    All the best,
    Lynn

The song and recording is fantastic. I don't like the keyboard in any of it, but thats my opinion. Did you record the instruments direct or with mics? They sound great! I was listening to some Natalie Merchant this morning "Leave your sleep cd" so this fits perfect for my mood today. Thanks.
