Amplitube 3 Free Problem-Help Anyone!

I posted over in the X1 threads about this. Looking for some help with an issue.
     I have been using Amplitube 3 Free ever since it became available. This morning I tried to insert it into an fx bin and I got this error:   VPA PLUGIN HAS REJECTED VPA HOST!
     I never had this problem before. I am wondering if I have a conflict issue. I bought Notion 3 a while back from the Cakewalk store. It had a version of X-Gear Amplitube which I installed for use in Notion 3. The Vst .dll file for that is in the same folder with Free. I am wondering if there is an issue with them conflicting now. X-Gear loads everytime with no problem. No luck with Free. Although, the stand-alone version of Free opens right up.
     Can anyone help,please. I never had a problem with them both working before. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Sonar Platinum, Sonar X3e, Sonar X2a , Sonar X1 Expanded and 8.5.3 (32 and 64 bit), Windows 10 on a Toshiba P75-A7200 Laptop with i7 @ 2.4 quad and 8 gigs of RAM and secondary WD 1 Tb drive, Windows 10 desktop, Asus i5 @ 3.2 quad, 12 gigs RAM, 1 Tb drive, 1 500 gig drive, MOTU 24io, 2 Roland Studio Captures, Saffire 6 USB for laptop, Soundtracs Topaz Project 8 mixer, Alesis Monitor 2s, Event BAS 20/20s, Roland Micro-Monitor BA-8s, and 45 years worth of collecting FX, Mics, Amps, Guitars, and Keyboards!

    I've never seen that error, but the first thing I would try is uninstall/reinstall Amp Free, and don't forget to run a VST scan in Sonar afterwards. If you still get the error, remove the X-Gear DLL file from your VST folder temporarily to see if it's the culprit (and run VST scan again).

    Thanks so much. I did finally end up uninstalling both. I went to the Free site and downloaded the latest version and installed it. So far everything is running fine. I am kind of leary about re-installing X-gear though.

    Glad you got it working again. X-Gear's modeling predates AmpliTube 3, so if you have to choose one over the other you're better off with Amp Free.

    AmpliTube 3 FREE replaced X-Gear so no need to worry about installing it at all now.

    Thanks for all the responses. And BTW, IK Obi, the re-install of Free was like butter. It even loaded my other amp sims from Guitar Shop. I never had an install go so smoothly. Thumbs up for a great product! Thanks again, all of you.
