How long does it usually take Cakewalk to put out Demos prior to release?

How long does it usually take Cakewalk to put out Demos prior to release?

I am debating on grabbing X2 but I don't want to if it won't work right for me. I have Sonar Studio X1 so going producer X2 and getting the console emulations looks great but due to my own issues I am having its hard to make that jump just yet. I am hoping a demo will be available during this sale they are having because it looks like a good way to get into X2 early

    I believe the demo will be released after X2 is available for purchase. Looking at the threads above the X1 demo was available a couple of months after X1d was released.

    I can't recall they have ever had the demo ready before the actual release.

    You won't see a demo until a patch or two has come out.  I would guess after the new year if X2 is released this fall.
