James, you got this just right.  It has a very ethereal quality that just takes you on an imaginary trip.  I agree with Frank about the mix-it's right on.  Keep up the good work.

          Thanks for dropping in and taking a listen , I would still like to add just alittle bit
          more to it and plan on working on that today and tonight .
          It should be completely finished by tommorrow I hope , I might repost a update
          once more when that happens before I start on the video project .

can totally envision this in your highly unique and enjoyable flight simulator videos.  great track. the rhythm break at 2:27 is sweet. i can see something technical going on with it in the video, eg engineers working on an engine, or cockpit views of dials and instrumentation. 

ya know, there is a publishing market for this type of art, everything from video games to the history channel. think you should be getting paid well for the dint of your efforts.

Hey everyone who left me a comment on my new fligthtsim music I posted here yesterday .
Last night I finished recording and adding a melody track to my ending section plus I added something more to the small section leading into the ending section .

I will be updating what is posted now after I listen to the ending section making sure the volume level is set correctly .
Late at night I can't use my monitor speakers living in a apartment , people above me might not like it . I'll have to wait untill its safe to play the song during daylight hours and recheck my mix again after adding that melody track , then I can update whats posted now .

Thats my update , tommorrow after I post it I can start thinking about creating the flightsim video that might work with this music I created .

James - can't imagine that you actually trashed and redid this piece.    And I can't imagine what more you'd want to change.   For a flightsim project, I think you've got it nailed!  Sounds great, and beautifully mixed!    - John

Hi John , thanks for the comments . Two weeks ago I started out with something completely different , it started out good for the first day or so
and then suddenly nothing seem to work for me so I started thinking why
waste more time on this why not trash it and start with something new .
 
I did that and here I am now , I just remixed the last section and made some more changes . Deleted two tracks and added a new track last night and today I'm going to try for another track and see how that works with whats
in here now .
Then theres one more small section that leads into the last ending section ,
I was hoping to find something more to add to that section but can't find
the right sound I'm looking for in all my software . I'll keep hunting sooner
or later I'll find it .

Hey after lunch I took another listen and realized my ending melody track was set too low so I bumped it up alittle . Now it sounds right , thats what happens when you have listened to it 100 times over remixing , your ears start to go whack-O on you .

Congratulations, James.  You succeeded with this.  It really took off, and with all it's subtle twists and turns, it went to many places.  I do miss some bass instrument, but the drums are mixed nicely and help drive the tune.  It's a very tasty mix of synth textures and sweet chord progressions balanced by a touch of funk at the end.  I want to go flying.
 
Hi Lynn and thanks again  , it has some good bass in it I just lowered it too much but its in there .
I tried to keep everything interested with all the changes I made throughout the song , I'm glad I went back in a changed the ending section it realling cooks now I think and ends that way .
 
Thanks again Buddy , I'm going to start working up a plan on my upcoming flightsim video project .
Right now I'm thinking whats going to work well with this music , I'll figure out something soon .
