New song "Blues Parade" from my second soon to be released solo album.

Hi everyone,

I've just uploaded the first track from my second solo album. The track is entitled "Blues Parade".

Recorded and mixed in X1.

Guitars used: Fender Strat, Tokai Loverock (best "Les Paul" ever made) Ibanez Artwood acoustic.
Bass: Ibanez Roadster
Drums: Gretsch Catalina (Birch shells)
Keys: All keyboard sounds were taken from the soft synths - Rapture, Z3ta and Dimension Pro.

Guitar amp - Marshall TSL with an SM57.

Incidently the mastering software I used was Fabfilter. I cannot say enough about this package. It's blown me away.

Cheers,

Peter.

     Nice ripping first lead tone.

Good job on the mix. Everything is audible in the mix. I'm listening on small computer speakers.

What a fine powerhouse of a song.  The guitar production is outstanding.  The mix is first class all the way.  I hope this finds an audience.

hooo-eee!   I'm sneaking a listen in on ear buds here on lunch break, and it sounds awesome.   Great licks on all guitars and rhythms and this mix is absolutely superb.   I like the feel of this - more than just Blues, it has some lovely acoustic breaks and then builds up into wonderful rock/pop feel as well.   Very colorful, and rich in textures.  Very nice job, I love it!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and to post your feedback. It's much appreciated.

@Lynn, yes, there is an audience here for this kind of genre. I was fortunate to have "sold out" of my first print run of my first solo album and am now well into the second run. Thats why I really want to get this album out asap.

It does seem like there is a small market out there. One can only hope that it grows...

    Cheers,

    Peter.
