Are you referring to quantize or snap to grid settings? Are you starting a new project from scratch or using a template?

MIDI quantization defaults to "sixteenth" which is fine for most projects. But there's a lot of stuff I play that require a triplet.
I opened a project, Changed the value to 16th triplet, saved, closed and re opened, it had reverted to sixteenth again.
So I see that you can save the dialog box as a pre set . This seems to work. Just set your value and save as a pre set. The pre set will load with that project and /or a template.

Thanks.. no this generally for project work...
So if I adjust the normal file and save the quantize setting as a selected preset.
Does this save the quantize ticked 'note length' option as well?
(I'm away from my comp- but this is something I need to address)

It looks like it saves all the settings in the quantize dialog box, so yes.

While we're at it... why doesn't SONAR remember my Snap to Grid settings, either? I want it to default to "on" and "Measure", always, unless I specifically ask it not to.
Any way to do this?
