Gosh! That was uncomfortable to watch for some reason. He's good, but he plays the wrong instrument for that sound. JMO

Exactly! And that is the tough side of it ... because there are some very good stuff that is put together ... be it on some software ... or not ... and some of those people are not even musicians ... you do not have to be a musician to play with a DAW, and the majority of DJ's out there are more geeks than they are musicians ... which eventually will give the music definition a serious headache. A lot of people can not tell when it is Emily composing something ... but they hate it when they find out that she is a computer ... not a person ... which tells you that we do not know, any longer, what music is, and what its "life" is about, or for anymore!

In the end, anything that pushes the technology is always good ... and 60 years ago, everyone thought the synthesizer was not an instrument, either, so seeing something like this is no big deal ... with the only concer I have that the gimmick will not go very far when it is doing something that has already been done. Some folks think that it was Switched on BS that got the synthesizer famous, but in the end, it was the way it was used by many others, like ELP, Tangerine Dream and many others, that defined the instrument forever. So seeing new technology trying to emulate old stuff ... yeah ... it's gonna run dry pretty quick!
