X2 side chain with Waves?

Will X2 be side chain capable with the Waves plugs?

    I'm curious too. I purchased Waves Vocal Rider and it never worked just right. Hope X2 fixed it!

    I don't own Vocal Rider but apparently it is VST3 and some functions are unavailable in Sonar.

    No, X2 is NOT VST3 capable. That's a major reason for me NOT upgrading this time. I'm testing out some of the competition right now. Btw- Vocal Rider Sidechains beautifully in Studio One!. Also the Audio Quantize in Studio One is Rock solid and easy to use... (And I'm extremely Proficient in Sonar).

    Anyone at Cake have a VST3 timeframe? I've asked repeatedly on this forum with no response.
