MIDI Keybinds in preferences doesn't work?

do you have your midi keyboard set as a midi input?

Ok, got some coffee this morning and went to town trying to figure this out...

The problem is that only some of the commands listed works, for example "file open" doesn't work, but "views|browser" does work.

Now it's just trial and error to find out what works, hope I don't find that most of what I'd like to bind is stuff that doesn't work, so many inconsistencies 

It's just that I'm trying to get something setup so I can put the keyboard away unless I have to name tracks and use the mouse as little as possible, I have an APC40 left from Ableton Live that I'm not using and it has a ton of buttons that sends out midi notes which would be perfect to assign to shortcuts.

But unless every midi keybind works there's not much point, because then I'd have to remember "oh that command only works on the keyboard" ending up being more of a hassle than a help, or find out halfway though mapping my keybinds that an important command is not implemented and waisting hours setting it up.

So I might as well go though and bind the notes to keyboard commands using BOME midi translator.

Just another thing that's only half done, like colors, step record, screensets etc..

Just an example:

Go to an empty screenset you can use, open the browser in the multidock, resize it and have it show folders.

Lock the screenset, switch to another and then back, it will have forgotten the size and that you had folders set to be visible. Now you have to spend time grabbing the mouse putting everything back, resizing selecting to show folders etc.. negating the use of screensets to save time.

There's other things that I can't remember of the top of my head basically things not being exactly the same as when I set it up and locked it,

When I setup a screenset and lock it, I would expect everything, no matter what, to be exactly pixel perfect the same the next time I activated it so I can concentrate on the task at hand, if not what's the point?
