Anyone have experience using Innerclock Systems with Sonar?
The midi clock coming out of Sonar through the USB port has noticeable jitter. I am not blaming Sonar since a lot of the issue is inherent in the USB interface and all the other midi messages to be fought with over USB. I have looked into the Innerclock Systems Sync-Gen II Pro and it looks like a good solution but I want to know if anyone out there in X1 (or X2 beta) has been running it. It has hardware and a software component which is a VST so I don't think there should be any issues. All it does is send clock pulses out an audio port and then it uses hardware to turn them into DIN/SYNC and MIDI clock. I also have vintage equipment that uses DIN/SYNC so this is important to me.
Any help greatly appreciated.
