I'm sure you have already read about the infighting that got most of the US tour cancelled. It really is a shame,why such talented people can't just get along.
Maybe Eddie needs to start the prune juice.There have been many disorders before this one and not all digestive.Why do most great guitarists have to screw themselves up?
Theres a great role model. Play guitar, get really good at it,become successful, buy a lot of drugs,do a lot of drugs,become a hermit and trash your house,your wife leaves you,let your body go,get a celebrity remake. Set up a new album and tour,start fighting with your band before the first few shows are finished. Cancel the tour and THEN have some kind of an intestinal problem........reminicent of too many of these guys.
We all have our problems and I'm not judging the guy but MAN what a ride.Not a resume I would care to have.

He should get together with Axl Rose. They deserve each other. If he played for Van Morrison, Van would probably kill him within a week.
Seriously, I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with him... then again a brush with death will sometimes completely change a person (if they are mature enough).
I think that having a bunch of "yes men" around is the worst thing for successful people, what they need is someone to help keep them grounded, to tell them that they are acting like a horses rear.
I hope things get better.
