I knew something was wrong yesterday. I had a few episodes with other people that were rare. Then I realized the moon was full. That explains it.

Isn't there something unusual about this blue moon?  I think it's the third one this year and most years only have two.  I don't have time to check right now.  I will take a look later when I have a chance.

Two full moons in one month then?

From the little I've read about the subject, the two full moons in one month is a more recent definition.

The older traditional definition, which is recorded in early issues of the Maine Farmer's Almanac, states that the blue moon is the third full moon in a season that has four full moons. The reasons for this is a bit more complex and it's derived from the Christian ecclesiastical calendar.

If the moon is made of cheese, shouldn't this be a bleu moon?

I guess it's unusual--but not rare--to have more than one full moon in a year.

Um, it's actually VERY usual (as in every year) to have more than one full moon in a year.

Now, if you talking about having more than one blue moon in a year, well that's a bit rarer.  Happened in 1999 and will again in 2018.

    Ya, that's what I meant.  Apparently, I shouldn't be posting during a full moon.  I turn into a were-arse!

I don't know, yet.  I seems that I can simultaneously howl from both ends, though.
