What fixes or improvements were added to Sonar X2 for the VS 700 system?
Or is it the same as X1 ? Any lingering bugs or issues from the VS700 been fixed? I've heard 8.5 was the best yet in VS700 stability and compatibility, will this be as solid as 8.5? I've heard some issues with X1 and the VS700 so what the verdict in X2 any planned or completed improvements?

I think many of us have a lot riding on this implementation/integration.....

I agree, there have to be something for VS700 users to finalize the total bug free integration once again. Considering it was once there but now gone.

I hope to finally be able to properly use instrument tracks.
Improvements ... honestly I don't believe there are gonna be any (like e.g. zooming @ PRV).

So how impressed were you on the X2 webinar? I see some cool stuff, but I still don't know anything about integration with the VS. I think if it was improved or different they'd have show us.

When I asked in the live chat, Robin answer: "same as X1d" This is awesome  that being said, he added he don't have the bug fix sheet in front of him. So maybe some bugs were fixed but for sure, nothing new for us. He told that Cake's engineers have worked hard on stability. Don't know what this mean for vs users...

I mean after all the bug issues listed in these VS700 threads it would be tragic for CW to just overlook them, and then come out with a new OS and totally forget about VS700 users and issues.

Well, somebody said, they don't touch it, cause people need to see what the Bakers are doing via the mouse. That certainly makes sense. HOWEVER, it would be perfect advertisement to once in a while tell the people, how awesome the VS-700 is, and how you can access certain functions. Seems as if they want it to die. It's a burden.

I haven't seen a list yet, but I just watched the X2 Webinar and they had a VS700 Console active while they were creating tracks and demonstrating features. X2 is just X1 with some tweaks and improvements. Whether those tweaks have been integrated into the VS700 console and interface is yet to be exposed. X2 does work with the Octa-Capture, that's what they were using in the webinar. I'm sure it will work in X2.

The VS 700 was supposed to be the flagship ....and it seems like they just ignore us ...i asked a Roland Fench rep friend and he told me that it was on the menu but no date ....(i asked him about the slow screen label upadte) ....
I just want a way to roll back to X1C and i will be happy (no act issues, no slow refresh of labels on screens ect ...)
so if we make a graphical we reached a peak (good X1C) then we 've be down (less good X1D) and for now we stay at less good ...some people want to go upper the peak while we're not even there no more !! lol ....give me the peak then we talk ...
