Cakewalk Support - Is this a joke?

I purchased Z3ta2+ on my mac on the launch day. four days ago i drop z3ta on a channel in ableton live and almost lost my hearing, was a harsh beep at full volume. I raised a case with cakewalk support about the plugin and in return they sent me an email that someone else raised, complete with their serial number, email address and personal details. A) Is cakewalk going to help me fix the registration problem on 10.6.8 B) Why the heck did cakewalk support email me someone elses case complete with their personal details and serial number.

    Welcome to the club...

Having the exact same issue, and support has now spent a week trying to understand the problem.

Seems to me they never tested the thing on 10.6.8, only on the latest os. The ultra slow response from support is getting on my nerves.

    Hi guys,

    I found this post here:

I followed the steps and it fixed the issue for me.  I'd suggest re-downloading the latest installer, following those steps exactly.  I hope it works out for ya.

Didn't work for me, but at least I got it back in trial mode so I can use it again.
