pre-emptive X2 upgrades.. SSD, Win7 64 bit

So I'm bitting the bullet and installing a 128gb SSD and win7 64bit this weekend in anticipation of all the X2 goodness to come. Current box is on XP 32 bit so I'll set up the SSD as a new bootable drive and spend the next week or two getting all software re-downloaded and installed as 64bit (superior etc...).

Anyone have any essential 'to do' ideas before I start?

I'm hoping running it in parallel initially means I'm a little safer but ones it's all running I'll need to bite the bullet and migrate the UAD plugs as they can't co-exist (I believe). I'll be leaving X1 on HDD and doing a fresh install of X2 when it's released.

I'm looking forward to it and if all goes well I may even get a couple more SSDs in Oct/Nov and move samples/music to them and retire all the drives.

Oh yeah - with a complete disregard to what I know is 'safe' I'm doing this before I mix my new album! I'm hoping the new pro-channel console emulation and a fresh environment will pay-off.

Basics below. I'm stretching this system out a little longer rather than replacing so I know there will still be a few bottle necks.

P5K deluxe motherboard (so 3gb SATA speed limit)
    8gb Ram (DDR2 1066)
    2 x UAD 1
    1 UAD PCI Solo
GeForce GT 520 1024MB GDDR3 Low Profile PCI-Express Graphics Card
    Roland UA55 interface

and the HDDs - 7200rpm...maxtors or similar...nothing special.

I figure for £200-300 I'll have a nice sytem for at least another year+ then I can decide what next (maybe downsizing to laptop + screen and all native plugs).
