Hi, Actually ... I really wish someone would do a nice write up what so many of these effects really do to the sound, with examples ... some of these are nutz ... and really knowing how to use them, and choose them ... is always a lucky thing, and chance ... and sometimes not fun. It would be more interesting for me, if I knew what this or that did, and instead of just turning one on, and not know how to figure it out ... I have a very large Boss pedal thing that I can do a lot with ... except figure out how to program it! Yeah the sounds are great, but fading in and out of them, means you can't play, because you need to turn a knob! ... effect wasted, I keep thinking! Btw, Craig ... that pie gets BAKED ... not cooked on top of the stove!
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I accidentally got a flanging/phasing effect recording drums once. I think the Mics were in one of those nodes where there was some cancellation of some frequencies but not others. It sounded good and I kept the track.
