Do you mean the help files or the reference guide?
The reference guide, 1800 page SONAR manual, is in pdf-format, so you can edit it with Acrobat Pro, or you can copy-paste the text into MSWord. Then it does need some fixing, because the layout doesn't stay.
You can copy-paste practically any text from your display, but usually spacing, paragraph etc. must be rebuilt to some extent, and pictures are not included
I just tested copying a page from SONAR 8.5 help files. I pasted it into Open Office. Text came out ok, even paragrphs were somewhat fine, none of the image material got pasted.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
