Wow--I didn't know you could play this well. And I KNOW it wasn't done all in PRV...way too much emotion for that. Either that, or you spent days and days editing it. Anyway, this is so beautiful. Love those chord changes that sorta take me by surprise...a good thing. Loverly! I'd be glad to render this in Ivory if you're interested. Do more!! :)

And sorry about your hand. That's so sad for a musician. :(

It's people like you who make me want to give up writing music! HOW do you DO it?! This piece would be the pinnacle of anyone's writing career - and yet I know there are many more even greater pieces to come from you. I cannot wait! But until the next piece, I shall listen to this piece and experience what truly great writing is. I love it!

Nice. I wish I couldn't play the piano like that. Is there anything you can't do ? Can you put something crappy up next time to make the rest of us feel better ? ;)

Hi Gary. Thanks man. Yea, there's always lots of piano roll. Thanks Daryl. appreciate it. Hey Rikkie. Thanks. Crackling huh. That was probably the nuts I was eating at the moment. It is a pretty old sample set. But, I like it. Hey Kev. Thanks man. appreciate the kudos. Glad you liked. 7 outa do it. Hey Herb. Thanks. well, it's usually a combination of both. Play the feel, tweak the real. Glad the patch sounded OK to you. I don't believe however that patches can simply be switched though. Maybe in a perfect world but, well, you know. Thanks Mr. Band in the box. Hey janet. Thanks. As I mentioned above, I don't think patches can easily be swapped like that. I appreciate the offer though. Actually, that might make a good test. I'll try and remember to find the midi for you. As far as the hand goes, yea, it's not too good. It's called dupyens contracture. Hey James. OK, if you say so:) Thanks man. appreciate it. I apologize Malcomb:) Really, you can't "give up". What would Miriam do?? How is that done? Might as well cut off an arm. As far as pinnacles go, well, I wrote this piece over probably a 10 year period and pressed it about 5 years ago. So, well, maybe it was the pinnacle. Hey Paulo. Thanks man. LOL. I just do what I do. Glad you liked. I'll try and find something "crappy" for you. There's enough of them.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by a patch, but you can definitely put a midi track into any synth you want...and since it's already a piano, it's a lot easier than swapping that sound for say, a violin or something. :)

If you play and record something using Ivory (or whatever), it probably won't have the same expressiveness when you use a different synth, patch, VSTi to play back the midi file you recorded using Ivory. Every synth is different in the way they structure the sounds and velocity layers.
