Old song redone

I posted this song .... Oh I guess it has been 2 years now..... my how the time does fly.

There is a slight audio change (melodyned the vox and changed a few words) but a 100% video remake.  All the photo's in this were taken by me in the area where I live and work as I traveled the roads working and vacationing.

The song is called Hope & Change. 2012 version.....

Commentary is welcome BUT please do not violate the TOS in doing so. The TOS says no political or religious discussion.

You are of course, invited to respond by writing your opinions and thoughts into a song of opposing view if you desire and that will not be a TOS violation....and you will have written a new song and been creative in the process.

You're singing my song Herb... Cute lyrics... the truth always plays best.   I guess that's why Washington don't play so well.

You could sell this song in hearbeat!

I missed this one the first time you put it out Herb.  Sounds really good, well mixed and very balanced.  Cool song.

    Thanks Daryl and Mike....

After I posted this yesterday, I have begun work on a new "protest song" which I hope to have finished in a day or two. I have also been invited to perform this tune at the large tea party rally that's happening here next month. That should be fun.

Hmm.... I am trying guess your political affiliation. Oh, never mind.

Politics aside, great track! Wonderful production and singing. You got some funny lyrics. The closed business on the video do really drive the point.

kenny... I think the entire country looks like that...and some places are even worse.  I hear Detroit is tearing down the abandoned/repossessed  houses because they can't sell them even for a dollar.

    Jay... thanks

Band.... aaaaah... we're all haters at one level or another......

Scotty..... share it with everyone. I got a new one coming out very, very soon..... I think it's even better than this one..... it is...shall we say, a wee tad more specific.

I don't think we're on the same page politically but I know a good song when I hear it.
    Nicely done.
I do think the song would of worked just as well during the previous administration.    :)

Well, I will make no statement except, WOO HOO!    i'M SENDING THIS TO A FREIND OF MINE WHO SPAMS ABOUT 500 OF HIS FRIENDS (INCLUDING ME) AT LEAST ONCE A DAY.  They'll love this.  Sorry about the caps, I didn't want to start over!   This is now my new Herb favorite!!  The photos were great too.  Nice production, buddy!

Herb, my friend loved the tune and sent it to his whole email list.  Looks like the views went up since I sent it yesterday.  If they send it out to their friends, it could get more hits.  He's a political guy and though I will discuss no politics let me just say that it fired his rocket.  Nice job!

    Hey, Herb,

I remember this one from a while back, it was definitely one of my favorites from you, and this version sounds absolutely fantastic with pro sounding production all the way around!

Your songwriting skills are top-notch, and the video was right on the nose, and really well done.
