I'm feeling happy!

Just thought I'd put that out there.

My roommate/ex-business partner is out of town until next Tuesday so I've got the place to myself (yay!).  Plus I found a place to move to that's less than a mile away and in an even nicer 3,100 sq. ft. house that overlooks the Columbia river (I move on the 15th).  I was supposed to just have this crappy little room downstairs (part of the whole "find any place to live that I can before the house I'm in gets foreclosed" story).  Well, it turns out that one of the upstairs tenents got kicked out, another moved back to Seattle and the guy with the REALLY nice room who manages the place is going back to the Gulf area on the 10th and has nominated me to both have the big room and manage the place (which only means getting the two other rooms rented and collecting rent - not much else).  So now I'll be in a room where the walk-in closet is as big as the room I'm in now...  I should have plenty of room to get most of my music gear out of storage and set it up there.  Plus I'm in a good position to determine roommates that I want to live with (stewardess flop-house?  Ok, nevermind that...).

The only problem is now I'll have to come up with money for rent, but as soon as the room opened up, I got two more side-projects that should cover things nicely for the rest of the year at least!

Oh yeah, and a young, male bunny who likes to be around us has moved in out back so, until I move, I've got that going for me too.

FINALLY things are looking up.

Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Congrats Craig!!! I'm happy for you. I know it's been a rough ride in this tough economy (for you as well as most of us). Really good to see your environment is improving AND lots of room for your equipment!! Nice!

Probably sometime after he moves out on the 10th.  This should be the easiest move I've ever done since I have very little here!  The next job is to see how much I can get rid of out of my storage unit (a 10'x25' which doesn't even include my music gear that's stored in a friend's basement... *Sigh*).

It's not a party if Pedro is not there.

That's great news Craig! The bunny would have been the clincher for me.
