X2 PDF Manual
Any chance we could have the X2 PDF manual early? Does anyone feel like they are in a holding pattern waiting for X2 because they know they will only be doing remixing when it come out? *L*

There seems to be five distinct periods for me; The anticipation phase - waiting to see if any features will be announced that will help me get started on my project. The announcement phase - now that I know what features are coming, should I wait till the release before starting any new project. The release phase - ok, now that I have these new toys, I better check them out and see if I can find any problems. The update phase - waiting till the initial bugs are worked out because working around them drives me crazy. The finished phase - well, this version is ok but I sure wish a couple more of my feature requests had been fulfilled. Maybe I should spend some time looking for a better product.

with more than plenty of experience in product development i can say that engineering focus is typically on the product not the paperwork and the manual and documentation is usually the last thing to be done.. so i wouldnt hold your breath for early docs...

I wish they would release the manual for X2 so I could start reading it. I just bought X1 with a view to getting X2 for free, but I don't want to go ahead with a full reading of the manual because of things that may be changed in X2. I got so far with the X1 Power! book which taught me the basics very well, but I always like to give official manuals a full read as well. Not going to do that with the X1 manual when X2 is so close.

It wasn't ready on product ship date.

considering the length of the X1 manual, it won't be a five minute read... that's for sure... Where's the X2 Power Book???? ;-)
