reinstalling X1 on laptop after installing X2 on DAW machine?

So once I've installed a new version of Sonar Producer on my studio machine, I can uninstall the old version and reinstall it on my new laptop right? I'd really like to be able to work on my midi skills on the couch when I've got the time...

    I believe the license says you may install X2 on more than one machine if you only use them exclusively, i.e. one at a time.

    But if you want to install the older version on your laptop instead, I don't think anyone will mind.

    Oh, I thought the license was a single machine per copy or serial number. Even better!
