X2 system requirements?

Just a simple question, is X2 compatible with windows XP or it only requires Windows 7 or 8?

    It is not officially supported for XP is my understanding. The Cakewalk cTO chimed in on this topic and said that this means it was not tested on XP or Vista either for that matter. But almost certainly it will still work on those operating systems.
