Using a Contour Shuttle Pro with X1

I've been thinking about using a Contour Shuttle Pro that's been collecting dust as a control surface for X1 (and eventually X2).  My primary intent is to make the most of the jog/shuffle wheel.

For anyone that has used this device before, I had a couple of questions:

  • What key combinations need to be mapped to the jog wheel so it moves forward/backward through the time line by beats, instead of measures?
  • What key combinations need to be mapped so the wheel can be used to actually "scrub" the time line, in lieu of using the "J" + mouse combination?
Thanks in advance!

I have one on my cubase computer, love it to death, looking for a used one now for the sonar machine.

You can assign keys to anything in sonar and the shuttle can send anything...

Just a matter of you digging in there (key command assign) and finding the command you need, if it's there.

I like moving in measures myself.

I also make macro's with the shuttle, like when you have a bad take, stop recording, rewind and delete the take, one button push.
