New Zealand X1 Producer (Boxed)

If you live in New zealand and would like to get into Sonar it looks like Protel-   www.protel.co.nz are getting rid of their old stock. They have listed (in the specials/audio section) Sonar X1 prodcuer boxed for $295 when they previously had it for $600.

They supply lots of high end stuff to TV/Film companies and have stores in Auckland and Wellington.

There's an Australian phone number on the header of the main page also

I can't see their pricing but if it's for real... good find, backwoods. It should be noted that if you snag this deal then Cakewalk (in theory) will honor the free upgrade to X2 if you buy the box (and register I assume) before Oct 31. Do you know if that deal is available in Australia? There seem to be quite few Aussie's around here who could probably benefit from this. Here's a link to their X1 page... http://www.protel.co.nz/cakewalk/index.html

Amazon.com has it for $299 too. I don't know if that applies to New Zealand though.

So am I right in assuming “Protel” is the NZ equivalent of "Intelliware Australia?"

Also I know some one who is looking to purchase “Producer 8.5” Anyone with ideas on how to buy  a legal copy?

Sonar Producer X2 + 8.5.3, HP pavilion dv6 3031TX Win7 home premium 64-bit,  Edirol UA-55, Edirol UA-25, Edirol PCR-500, 2 Behringer FCB1010, Rode NT1A, KRK Rokit 8 Monitors, PODxt, AKG520 Cans, too many guitars to list and a Dog "Lets complicate things a little for the sake of simplicity"
