Just purchased X1 Producer - can't wait for X2!

Hi

This post is really a thank you to those who helped me in the following post:

http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?high=&m=2657019&mpage=1#2657066

So a big thanks to Beepster, timidi, Anderton and backwoods!

I have just bought Sonar X1 Producer [full version] a few moments ago from Music Matter in the UK for £219.46, as they were kind enough to give me a further 5% discount code for being a return customer and Facebook follower.

On top of that, I then had an email from Dell to say they've started building my laptop, which should be with me by the 20th of this month, so everything is looking very positive right now.

The only other thing left to do is register the software tomorrow when it arrives and then sit and wait (impatiently) for X2 to be released over the coming weeks!

Thanks again!

In a word, budget - or lack of it - as this choice has come after just recently spending £3,000+ on updating my Mac gear!

So, the Dell spec is okay for now:

Intel Quad Core i7-3612QM Ivy Bridge 2.10GHz (up to 3.10GHz)
    8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
    1GB AMD Radeon HD7670M Graphics
    1TB 5400RPM Internal HD
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

and I can always update it later, should i really get in to X2!

    Thanks Skyline_UK!

I have to say, this is one of the better forums I've used - most tend to be pretty hateful, nasty places to be - but everyone here seems friendly and helpful!
