A quick look at his profile says he logged in on Sept 9th, but hasn't posted since April. He has a website, why not send him an email?

Yeah - we don't need any more of "those" kinds of threads.  Track him down Mike!

I have received a reply from Mike.

He says that the doctors are giving him good news but that he's not 100% either.

I told him we were thinking about him and keeping him in our thoughts.

    best regards,
    mike

    Thanks Mike

You all are very welcome... but I'm uncomfortable being thanked for something so normal as caring about a friend. :-)

Send the good energy and prayers towards Mike Norman!!!

    :-)

    best regards,
    mike
What's wrong with being thanked for flagging it up and reporting back?

Sometimes someone will miss someone and pass comment, other times it will be someone else enquiring after someone else.  Seems to me that's how the forum rolls, I've had people enquire after me and I've enquired after others, it's always nice when someone reports back on a member who's been MIA.

It's only courtesy. Don't sweat it too much I wasn't about to build a shrine to the overtly caring McQ or write a country tune about it.
Thanks Mike it was good to hear the news.

I guess I am, in many ways, just a socially awkward person.

    I hadn't noticed that Mike...
