Pro channel modules.

I am in the process of doing my first mixing/editing.
In watching the Groove 3 video on the subject they refer and use different types of modules ie: Softube... Active eq....FET compressor...Focusing eq.....
Are any of these available through Sonar or any other source and are any cost involved?

Thank's

The Softube Bundle was just on sale for $179, but the sale ended at the end of August.

It's a great bundle....if you can catch it on sale again I highly recommend it.

Some modules are included with SONAR (you just need to patch them in to the ProChannel) and some are available for purchase in the online Cakewalk Store.

    I'm a newbie at this.
What do you mean by patching them in to the Pro Channel?
I also just downloaded some of the presets but them end up in my download file in the C drive. I tried opening them and I can't.
    How does it work?

    Thank's.

If you buy any of the addons, install them run the plugin scanner if it doesn't automatically and you should be good to go.

I haven't downloaded any of the ProChannel presets so I'm guessing here but I imagine you'll have to unzip them and then put them in the right folder for PC to find them.  I guess you could browse the PC presets browser but then your browser would have to be pointed back to the normal PC preset file.  Track down where they are loaded and put your new PC presets into that folder.  I imagine some of the other users have loaded in some of the separate paid PC modules which you won't have.
