X2 Pro Channel Quad Curve EQ

I asked this question last month but never really got an answer...

It was more of an "in passing" question then an out and out question...

With the new Modular Pro Channel can we remove the Quad Curve EQ if so desired?

Would be nice, if we were not going to use it on a particular track, to not have it taking up screen real estate (or memory for that matter)...

Just a curiosity question...
Thanks!

In X1 it can be minimized. I doubt if it will be removable in X2...  DK

Let me add to that question...

    AND...

Are there any new PC modules coming "soon"?

    (other then those in X2)

Keep in mind that a module that is not turned on has no CPU impact. Although for cosmetic reason one may wish to remove a module, practically speaking there is no reason to do so.

As pointed out one can minimize it.

I remember Noel wrote in the past that when QuadEQ is bypassed, it will not use memory or cause extra overhead.
If you want to remove QuadEQ, try my Empty ProChannel Preset: http://www.sonarmods.com/...wnloads;sa=view;down=4 (login required). You can use it as a template to build EQ free ProChannel chains...

While it may have no impact on CPU usage when "off" it's still loaded, it's just been disconnected, even minimized.
No big impact really, just a curiosity question, as having the option to remove it would be welcome...

I think ...at this point...I'll wait for the X2 rendition...

I'm currently in a holding pattern until X2 is released....
