Flock of Seagulls Second Best Song?

When I try to think of all the great songs A Flock of Seagulls recorded, I come up with

I ran
Iran
Ire Anne

Uh

A friend of mine saw them at a Reonion tour (notice that word?) and said the crowd booed other songs and made them play Iran like 5 or 6 times.

Some people call me Maurice

They're one of those 80's bands I was vaguely aware of but had no idea of who they were or what they did, because I pretty much ignored them for some reason. Strangely enough though, when I heard the name the first song I thought of was "The First Picture Of You," even though that turned out to have been by The Lotus Eaters when I looked it up!

    Great song though

The Colonels hair is SO much better than the lead singer of FOS.  It works.  I'm pretty sure.

"I Ran" was AFOS' 4th best song IMO.  Top 3:

    1. Telecommunication
    2. Space Age Love Song
    3. Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)

I'm thinking it was that one that wasn't as good as that other one.

Maybe that other one is the one I'm thinking of though.

This question isn't as straightforward as it looks is it?

    Hi,

Check out one of the producers of those albums and some of their music ... yeah ... yep ... one certain Mike Howlett, that would ahve taught Bapu how to play his Am a few years later! Original Gong member, btw.

Mike is running a music school in Australia, btw ... he was invited to run the college of music. I reckon we all could use a lesson or two!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Wasn't that the guy that looked like a bird was sitting on his head who stood behind his synth with one finger holding down one key for half the song (or was it two fingers?). Amazing what made it on MTV.................
