Chuckles

My first official post although all songs on my Soundcloud page were done in Sonar or Pro Audio.

So named for a special bass player, not really a song per se but another addition for my commercial "portfolio". Feel free to sing along if you like.

Cheers!

This has a nice acoustic bass track that really shines.  The drums sound very natural , as well.  Nice addition to your portfolio.

    All the best,

Thanks again Lynn. I started as a guitarist, well, I still am, but I go thru periods of Bass Obsession. It can be such a punchy, dynamic instrument and so soft when needed. Kinda sad how obscured it can be in typical rock and pop which is when I turn to "fusion" and jazz stuff - Marcus Miller, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones/Victor Wooten, Alain Caron, Steve Bailey (who was one of my teachers along with Tim Bogart), Michel Donato ... players who can amuse and amaze with nothing but four strings, even when playing solo. Wooten in particular is an absolute  beast. I'd call him a freak of nature except that would belittle the enormous time and effort he's clearly invested.

Be sure to check out the comments in the other thread I posted (Miller Time").

    Cheers!

Victor Wooten blows me away.  I have an instructional disc of his.  I finally gave up.  Fortunately in my style of music I don't need to play that way but if I did, I would wither, watching his skill.  This has a great sound and some nice riffs!!
