x1 to x2 free upgrade

Hi,
    i just recently bought Sonar X1 essential which says it comes with a free code to get Sonar X2 upgrade,
 so i am wondering where will i find my code and where do i go to use my code to get my free Sonar X2?

    I woiuld imagine that you go to the online store, purchase it and then use the code at checkout.

    I'm sure there'll be instructions there anyway. Link at the top of these pages.

    You'll be sent an activation code when
    Sonar X2 Essential is released via email.

    The download should appear in your account
    when X2 is available for download.

    There is no code. You must register the product at Cakewalk.com. Then you will receive an email, once it becomes available, with instructions on how to get the free upgrade.
